Description:
Theory and practice of modern methods of macromolecular structure determination using multi-dimensional NMR.
Note: Given in alternate years.
Cross listed with GSAS as BCMP 228.
Classroom lectures on Mondays and Fridays. Wednesdays are reserved for either classroom lectures or practical training and hands-on problem solving. The latter includes basic aspects of spectrometer operation, computer-based assignment of protein NMR spectra and structure calculation. Wednesday slots are reserved for registered students and are open ended for completing the training tasks.
