Description:
The course will deal with the mechanisms of pathogenesis of bacteria, Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, viruses and the fungi. Special emphasis will be placed on events at the molecular level. Topics have been selected for intrinsic interest and will cover the demonstrated spectrum of pathophysiologic mechanisms. A course in molecular biology is strongly recommended as a prerequisite. (Microscope required)
