Core Subinternship in Medicine

Description:
The course is designed to provide an exciting and challenging experience in the evaluation and management of patients on the General Medical Service. Students will be fully incorporated into the Firm system where they will act as subinterns under the close guidance and supervision of an experienced medical resident and teaching faculty of the Firm.
Students will be expected to take call every fourth night and will admit patients under resident supervision. Students are offered a variety of intern-level conferences (including Intern Report) and will meet with the clerkship preceptor on a weekly basis.
